The restaurant “Pensão Borges” was founded in 1934 by the Trindade Family and Teresa Borges. It combines traditional cuisine and regional dishes with the excellence of their service.
The Roasted Lamb, the Veal or Arouquesa Roasted Steak, the Cozido (portuguese stew made of boiled meat with vegetables), the Broad Beans Rice and Chicken, the Alheiras (bread and garlic sausage), the Smoked Sausage and the Bazulaque are the meat main specialities. The Baked Codfish or the Gratin Codfish and the Monkfish Rice, are fish main specialities.
