The Aguião wine is a red young wine connected with the Arcos de Valdevez history and heritage. It is produced in the old manor Quinta da Casa da Torre de Aguiã, where the new vineyards are essentially the Vinhão variety. The new vineyards were planted in 1996 and are line up by terraces facing the east, on the north hillside of Vez Valley. It is an 18 Medals prizewinning wine.
