Torre de Moncorvo

Description

This viewpoint deployed on a high, sloping ridge, has panoramic views over the Douro. There exists a small chapel dedicated to "Nossa Senhora do Castelo", whose pilgrimage is in the last Sunday of August. In this place there was a fortified settlement, with occupation from pre-historic to the Middle Ages.
