The Ribeira Minho Crossing is a grand route (GR) path with two branches that go in both directions according to FERP/ERA rules.
The path signs are in red and white colors. Although it is signed in both directions, it is recommended to start the path in Lamas de Mouro (county of Melgaço) and to finish in the center of Vila Nova de Cerveira, more precisely in Parque de Lazer de Castelinho (Castelinho Picnic Park).
The Ribeira Minho Grand Route Crossing is a trail with 95,7 km and runs through the counties of Melgaço, Monção, Valença and Vila Nova de Cerveira. It has a subdivision of 13,8 km – the rivers Coura/Minho branch -, that leaves from the trail in Valença, and connects to the Alto Coura Grand Route Crossing, in the county of Paredes de Coura.
