Town Hall, Caminha

Caminha
Description
I had rectangular plan and it was addorsed in the wall, the Clock Tower and the Chapel of St. Sebastian. In the middle of twentieth century it was significantly expanded, following the traces of the medieval wall which was included in part, and then demolished the chapel. The main façade has several lacy pinnacles, copying two originals from the demolished Chapel of St. Sebastian. Inside, stands out the decoration of the Great Hall, with its conchal ceiling and phytomorphic motifs from the Mother Church, and the bow to the bottom of the first floor, this one salvaged from the Chapel of St. Sebastian.
