Solar dos Magalhães (Magalhães Manor House)
The Solar de Magalhães is a XVI century Manor House that is closely connected with the French Invasions, becoming a symbol of resistence for the people of Amarante. It was set on fire by the french troops in 1809. From the original strucuture, only the outer walls remain.
