Senhora da Saúde Pilgrimage
The Nossa Senhora da Saúde da Serra Shrine is located on the top of Castelões and it is one of the most important Marian shrines in the Aveiro district. It is a sacred place for the fishermen and sailors that are devout to the Lady. It is a meeting point for the coastal and mountainous people and for the pilgrims who come to keep their promises. The festivities take place on the 13th, 14thand 15th/August.
