The Belvedere of Santa Luzia stands in one of the highest points of the parish of Póvoa de Penela.
The site has been reclassified in order to provide visitors with the appropriate conditions to spend some time admiring magnificent landscapes, thus enjoying the Douro landscapes or else the more mountainous landscapes.
Here, where the Douro ends and the Beira begins, we can enjoy this mix of landscapes and cultures.
The area was recently improved, having opened in the summer of 2011.
