The rock paintings of Fieiral, located in the highlands of Castro Laboreiro, are witnesses of this territory’s occupancy thousands of years ago.
When you reach the top, pay attention so as to sight this interesting set of rock paintings engraved on the surface of two granite outcrops, one of which being really large! Looking closer, you'll be able to discern some geometric and symbolic motifs. A piece of art that reaches us from the Late Bronze Age and the Iron Age.
The place presents us with privileged views over Laboreiro Valley with the mountain range of Peneda at the back. You’ll also be able to sight some of the surrounding leas, with their hay crops decorating the landscape.
