To be elevated to an independent parish, the locality had to have its own church (dedicated to St. Martin). The building has baroque notes on the outside: Portico and oculus. The exterior schedule (1767), at the height of Joseph, will refer to the year of construction. Inside the temple highlight the side altars, one from the Almacave church, offered by Dr. João dos Santos Carvalho. Near the church Senhor do Bom Despacho Cross, under a porch and date from 1774.
