Located at the entrance of Arouca, it hosts a permanent exhibition of ethnography – "Memories of a Rural Life" – and it has an area dedicated to archeology and geology, as well as a place to receive temporary exhibitions.
Opening time during the winter: 09:00-12:30 and 14:00-17:30
Opening time during the summer: 10:00-12:30 and 14:30-19:00
