Brief description: The medieval nature of the historic center of Caminha emerges strengthened by the implementation of the Medieval Fair, which is an opportunity to revisit days gone by, knowing the customs and tasting the delicacies. It takes place on the last weekend of July and it is part of the celebrations of the charter granted to Caminha by D. Dinis in 1284. Costumes, cuisine, animation, music, dance, theater, equestrian shows, sports and the practices of medieval times, they all return to give the opportunity to live with the most traditional figures of other times and actively enter into the spirit of the Fair.
