For the manufacture of candles, this community mill, unique in the country, of stick press, despite being almost extinct, is still used by some cereeiros. Currently the manufacture of candles has an art expression.
The traditional production in Felgueiras dates back to the medieval period. The tenements were collected by the village cereeiros, after having been removed from the honey. The wax combs were crushed and placed in boiling water. The wax was poured into the sobrenadava mats placed on the drill; after pressed the liquid wax resulting served to mold that gave him the yellow wax bar setting.
