If you’re a hiking fan, you’ll be delighted with the Interpretative Trilho Interpretativo de Lamas de Mouro, a small course close to the Peneda-Gerês National Park. This pleasant circular trail shows us, along its 2.8 miles of extension, the beautiful rural landscape of Lamas de Mouro, as well as its natural and ethnographic values. A journey into the purest rurality of these villages in Peneda-Gerês!
During this 2 hours walk, you’ll pass by many points of interest, such as the Ponte do Porto Ribeiro, a watermill, a sun clock, a communitarian oven, the Igreja de São João Baptista and the Porta de Lamas de Mouro. Arriving this last passing point, you’ll be able to collect more information on the amazing Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês, a green paradise almost untouched by men. Also, don’t miss the Oficina Temática da Porta de Lamas de Mouro, where you’ll find an exhibition named " Ordenamento do Território ".
