Lacated in the historical center of Caminha, The Fountain is a remarkable work that beautifies The Terreiro Square. It was ordered to be built between 1551 and 1553, by the master João Lopes Filho, born in Viana do Castelo. Considered as a nacional monumento since 1910, the fountain has a renaissance style and it is based on a circular plataforma, veiled by iron railings.
