The cross is an artistic piece, standing on its eponymous square, in the parish of Idães. It is built upon a four-stepped base. It has a carved finial in a shaft which is decorated with geometric motifs in the lower part and fluted in the higher half. The capital is Corinthian, supporting a sphere that bears the cross with Christ.
