Integrated in the River Cavalum valley, the City Park provides visitors and the community in general, the enjoyment of a privileged space as a recreational area and environmental /cultural education. The city park is the result of a project which is developed in several stages, having now a Playground, Picnic Park, Sanitary Facilities, Parking, Water Mirror and Aromatic Plants Garden. The Children's Playground, is located in a "strategic point" of the City Park, being the children`s favourite place. Near the Praça Central, the sanitary facilities and water points, this equipment provides a play and fun space for the younger ones. The Parking, the Water Mirror and the Aromatic Plants Garden are located further south, where the sport areas are.
