Castro, established from all the effort and generosity of its founder - Gaspar-Marinho, has been maintained by perseverance which is a characteristic of the family, which seeks excellence in the wines produced.
Selected and recommended varieties of the Region of Vinho Verde "Loureiro", "Arinto and Trajadura", fill the entire vineyard area of the shares that make up the farm where the wines are produced. More recently, with the growth of the farm area, introduced new varieties that will give an even more distinguished character of wines produced, and expand the range of wines.
To white wines, that are a visiting card to the vineyard farm, the white castes of “Alvarinho”, "Verdelho", and the colour caste "Vinhão”, were added.
