This modest house is situated just around the corner of Rua das Ameixoeiras. This was the birthplace of the famous writer from Tabuaço, Abel Botelho (1856 – 1917), a remarkable diplomat and writer. Although the house has changed much over time, it still shows some traces of the 18th century architecture, such as the door frames and two window aprons.
