The chapel on the Mount of Sr. da Agonia dates back to the 18th century and was later renovated by the local people. In the chapel are statues of Senhor Jesus da Agonia with Santa Bárbara on the left and Nossa Senhora da Conceição on the right (18th century). The statue of Nossa Senhora das Dores on another altar was sculpted by Amálio Maia, a statue maker from this parish.
There is a beautiful view of Castêlo da Maia from the top of the hill.
