The confectionary of Arouca has great tradition, the “pão-de-ló” (sponge cake), the wet slices of “pão-de-ló”, the “cavacas” and the “melindres”.
The recipes came from the Teixeira Pinto family many years ago and the sweets are sold all over the country.
